1920s Inspired Cotton & Silk Blend Creamy Ivory Cardigan, in a cropped '40s-style fit. Slim-fitting cardigan sweater knit from a supple blend of British cotton and Japanese mulberry silk yarns. Guernsey-inspired design. The silhouette was inspired by a 19th-century garment, and riffs on British fisherman sweaters from the 1920s. Designed for a slim fit, it's spun from a mid-weight cotton and silk blend and has all-over textural knitwork and rack stitching. Crafted in a textural knit utilizing a variety of stitches including rack, cable, and guernsey detailing throughout. Yarn is spun from 70% cotton, 30% mulberry silk. Features a rack stitched shawl collar, with a two-button closure on the right side, rack stitched button up placket, river shell buttons, long sleeves, 2 front waist patch pockets, ribbed knit cuffs, and hem. Beautifully neutral, pairs with everything, and dresses up or down. Very gently worn, no signs, lovely condition, in a beautiful heritage style, see pics.
