RUNNING Vintage 1960s Ladies 15mm Benrus Wristwatch

This classic 1960s petite ladies wristwatch from historic Benrus was recently wound and is running great; it also is in lovely aesthetic condition, apart from a couple of tiny, light scratches on the watch's crystal that mostly are undetectable. The timepiece's American watchmaker was founded over a hundred years ago in NYC as a watch repair shop, eventually transitioning into manufacturing watches with parts imported from the Swiss. The company halted production during WWII to aid the U.S. military in the manufacture of timing systems like fuses. Famous for its accuracy, this vintage gem is still keeping time 60 years from its birth date. Its stainless-steel bezel (stamped) and classic Speidel Twist-O-Flex stretchable metal bracelet are in like-new shape; and its beige-colored face is in beautiful vintage condition, including the silver-colored hands and Arabic-numerals (12, 3, 6 & 9 o'clock). The case measures about 15mm; the length of the bracelet + case measures 7". This working collector's item has a refreshingly distinct, less-is-more style that makes a maximum statement.
