Rabeschadel Raven Skull Choker

This is a retired & hard-to-find Alchemy Gothic Rabeschadel Choker. Imported from the UK. New with tags. A large, authentically detailed raven's skull, in antiqued pewter with hand polished beak, threaded through the eye sockets with a wide black silk neck ribbon. The raven's skull was hand crafted in the UK of lead-free, Fine English Pewter and measures approximately 2.44" tall, 1.10" wide and 0.59" deep. The neck ribbon is 25mm wide by 100cm long and is fastened by hand-tying. The great black birds are famous for their prophetic & protective powers. As the eyes and ears of Odin, they can foretell the future. In Middle Ages' Christian tradition, the body of the martyred St Vincent was forever preserved from desecration by a vigilant raven guard.
