Ralph Lauren Purple Label Tuxedo, black, 40R, adjustable waist, top of the line

Reposhing this item I purchased from @kris_domich. It is a beautiful and virtually unused Ralph Lauren Purple Label Barathea wool tuxedo, which retails for $5,995; however, the sizing was extremely misrepresented by original seller and it does not fit me. While it is labeled a 40R, the length has been significantly shortened. The pants measure 27” from crotch to ankle hem; 37” from waist to ankle hem. The jacket measures 23” from shoulder to wrist, 16” from armpit to wrist. I really wish it fit me but it’s far too short and I don’t want to bother with alterations. For reference, I am 6’1”. It does look like there is plenty of fabric to have it let out still inside the hem of sleeve and pant. I tried to contest it and return to original seller but Poshmark corporate was terribly unhelpful. My loss is your gain! I have opened up the seams on pants and jacket cuffs, to see how much extra fabric there is, and there is approximately 2.5” fabric on pants (meaning they could be hemmed to approximately 29.5” inseam at longest) and 1.5” on sleeves (meaning sleeves would be hemmed to approximately 24.5” shoulder to end). Hems will need to be retailored as they are open at the moment
