This transfer print pitcher is so hard to find! It may be from the elusive Thomas Furnival Elder Road Pottery Works in Cobridge, where between 1864 and 1871 the mark is believed to have been impressed FURNIVAL. Though uncommon by itself, the impressed FURNIVAL mark was used up to 1911, so this piece might be from a later period. H: 6" L: 5.25" W: 4" D: 3"
Design includes: round fan, thatched window, flying birds.
The makers marks are:
-impressed FURNIVAL
-impressed 13 1
-transfer print 16
