This is a “lost” production of The Bells by Leopold David Lewis starring Joseph Haworth. Until I found this program this production had faded from history, this is a truly one of a kind piece of theater history.
The Harlem Opera House was a US opera house that had two locations. This is the first location on 170 e 125th st.
It is the very first theater owned and managed by Oscar Hammerstein. Predating the 2nd Harlem Opera house Hammerstein commissioned to be built by 7 years this is a truly rare item from the start of a theatrical legacy that would span generations.
The programs I sell are between 30-150 years old. They will have signs of wear. Please carefully examine photos.

Your purchase helps me continue to fund my artistic work as a photographer in Hollywood California. It also helps me to feed my increasingly finicky cat who now only wants the most expensive cat food
