Rare, 1986 Kirsten Larson American Girl doll from the Pleasant Company.

Kirsten is stamped with Pleasant Company branding and signed by the artist below her right ear. She has a Pleasant Company tag from 1986 on her abdomen. Her body is in mint condition with all original limbs, stitching and wig. Her head is attached by strings and she can stand and sit without assistance. Kristen’s meet outfit has been largely lost to time so she comes in a combination of original clothing from her meet outfit and her school outfit. Her clothing has 1995 Pleasant Company tags and includes undergarments and wool socks. Kirsten comes with four original books made by Scholastic for the Pleasant Company: Meet Kirsten, Kirsten Learns a Lesson, Kirsten’s Surprise and Changes for Kirsten. This Kirsten doll was part of my cherished childhood collection; she has been cleaned and prepped for sale. Kirsten is part of a vast collection.
