Rare 40’s-50’s vintage Whiting and Davis evening silver mesh bag, special occasion purse, chain strap and cream colored lining, (see imperfection details below). Founded in 1896, Whiting & Davis has is known worldwide for their patented metal mesh, and vintage purses. Measures approximately: 5 1/2 H x 7" W Condition: Being vintage accessories will naturally show signs of wear and age. This purses inner lining shows how loved it was. Makeup stains and inside minor tears are present from its age. Some light scratching on the frame top, small stone missing on clasp, Overall a rare, usable Whiting and Davis purse. This purse is still considered good condition for its age.
