Rare .78 carat Tsavorite!!

Tsavorite is the rarest and most expensive form of grossular garnet, fetching upwards of $2K to $8K per carat (!) for stones over 1 carat with no visible imperfections and in this vivid green color. What I love about this stone is that when you have good color saturation, as with this particular stone, it looks like a gorgeous Emerald but without all the inclusions that make an Emerald and Emerald! This stone would be perfect but for the feather cutting diagonally across the wider part of the stone. It is not a crack and does not come through the surface of the stone.
