Rare Antique Art Nouveau 14K Gold Flower Box Enamel Orchid Charm AJ Hedges 1905

This is a very rare antique, Art Nouveau Era, 14K yellow gold, 3D Flower Box charm that opens up to a beautiful enameled violet red orchid on the inside! This lovely antique charm is very intricately detailed. It is designed with a 14K rose gold bow tie ribbon which adds to this charm’s beauty. This remarkable treasure was hand-crafted by A.J. Hedges & Co. jewelers who were located at 6 Maiden Lane in New York. A.J. Hedges were producers of beautiful enamel fine jewelry during the Art Nouveau era. They also had a factory at 90 Mechanic Street in Newark N.J., where they crafted jewelry out of. Their museum quality pieces are well sought after by collectors. This beautiful antique Flower box charm dates back to the turn of the century, circa 1905.
