Rare Springerle AUSTRIAN WAX Gingerbread Mold Dated 1739 This rare 1739 gingerbread cookie mold (also referred to as speculaas planks, springerle molds, or koekplanks mold) is an excellent addition to your eclectic home decor. A real survivor—this 18th century wax mold features a clear and clean impression of a well dressed man. These molds were originally intended to be used for making detailed gingerbread men, but this would look stunning sitting on a shelf or hanging on the wall in a kitchen or bakery! Mold has an embedded string for hanging. Measures approximately 15 1/4” tall by 5 1/2” wide and just shy of 1” tall. Comes from my clean, smoke-free pet-free closet.
