Size: 8.75 Weight: 7.457 Grams Hallmarks: Sterling (.925 / 92.5% pure silver) Band width narrowest: 1.6 mm Band width widest (top of ring): 11.7 mm Band thickness: 2.4 mm Topaz: Using my Presidium gem tester, this stone tests as a Topaz. However, looking at the clear color change depending on ambient light, it is possible this stone might be a rare Alexandrite. It is round and held in place by two slots cut into the silver. There is also glue underneath these slits. The stone is NOT a mystic Topaz. It measures 9.5 mm diameter, for an approximate 3.3 ct. Needless to say, this is an unique piece. The modernistic design focusses on the stone's magnificence. The glue underneath the stone is not the best, and if you like, a jeweler can clear this away. The hallmark indicates Mexican origin.
