This bag is in excellent structural condition. It has no rips, tears, or holes. No stains. The leather is worn. | My father used it for work 3 decades ago. The Coach Creed states it made in New York City. It has registration number 156-3709. This is one style of at least two Coach Briefcases given the name Embassy. This Embassy Briefcase was assigned Style No 5090 and was designed to be used without a carrying strap. Another Coach Embassy Briefcase bearing Style No. 5282 includes a detachable carrying strap. | This briefcase features an extended top zipper closure to secure the large interior compartment. The extended zipper is a design that allows easy insertion of oversize items. The wall of the interior compartment features two leather pockets. The briefcase also has two full sized outside leather slip pockets large enough to hold books, files, supplies or additional electronic equipment. Solid brass hardware. Dual soft padded leather handles. | Coach offered this bag for $180 in 1986 which is equivalent to over $500 when adjusted for inflation. | Length 17.25" | height 11.5" | width 3" | This bag was made in the NYC Coach Factory which means it is in the class of the most sought after vintage Coach bags. Coach no longer produces bags in the U.S.A. and the Factory is gone.
