Rare Empress fedora wool felt 60s bag

This RARE 60's purse is a work of art contoured with one piece of Fedora Wool Felt; same felt that the high-end Fedora hats are made with. Only 2 designers designed these purses, Morris Moskowitz and Empress. This lush deep black Fedora wool felt purse in an Empress design. Topping off the purse is a fabulous tortoise Lucite handle. The frame is brass-colored metal. The interior is lined with a coordinating brown satin, with a slash sidewall pocket lined in gold satin. LUSH VINTAGE! In fabulous vintage condition. These are rare as they are highly collectible, and collectors like me hold onto them. I am letting go of most of my bags in a big downsize, and this special bag needs to be carried and used! To find one in this condition is very hard. The wool is perfect, no moth holes. Hardware is really good too, minimal gold tone loss in a few areas, and besides a rub mark along the too of the handle, the handle is also in fantastic shape. Measures 9.5W across the center and 7 inches across bottom, 7H, and 5D.
