Late 20th Century, Vintage Shibata Vase. Adorned with autumnal colors, Bird and Chrysanthemum flowers throughout. Use of the Chrysanthemum is interesting, as it represents longevity, rejuvenation and nobility in Japan. It is also the symbol of autumn, harvest, abundance and goodwill. The decorations are on a rich beige porcelain with golden accents. This lovely piece could be displayed for all to enjoy on a mantel, bookcase, coffee table or fireplace hearth.
