Rare Margaret Smith Vintage Flower bag

Margaret Smith started out making beach totes for her friends in Maine, who encouraged her to found her own handbag company, which she did in the 1940s. Typically designed with floral prints, her bags were sold in high end shops and department stores in the 1950s and 60s. This yellow floral frame bag is in excellent condition. It’s approx 12L x 10h” x 4"wI. t has a rich blue silk lining. Rare bag from a classic female designer.
