This very nice, vintage late 1940's/1950 McKee Range Tec teapot/coffee maker or percolator.  Features a very rare beehive design with a glass handle attached by a red metal band. Got it at an estate sale with 80 years of grunge and rust. So I spent the last couple of days cleaning and painting everything, so now it looks great, though I'm not a very good painter. Some hard-to-find nicks or chips you'll never notice. There are a few bubbles in the glass, which is normal for pieces from this period. Designed to hold 6 cups. Approx. 8" tall x 5-1/2" wide. Weighs almost 2 lbs. I painted the percolator black so it's looks fine, but I'd use this only for tea myself. For the best appearance in a collection,  I'd display it without the black percolator for the best appearance. In fact, the two I found listed online don't even have the percolator anymore, which makes this complete example even more collectible. If you actually want to make coffee, however, I'd recommend finding a replacement for the percolator which, despite looking ok, is a bit wonky after 80 years. Guaranteed to be as described and shown.
