Rare Nettie Rosenstein Sterling Enamel Flower Cluster Fur Clip

Nettie Rosenstein was Americas premier clothing designer whose clothing designs in the 1940's were selling for up to $500. Her vintage jewelry pieces are as sought after as her clothing designs. This sterling silver fur clip is an exquisite design, featuring a wreath filled with white enameled flowers centered with sparkling green rhinestones. Delicate white tipped buds accent the flower clusters. The outer row of the brooch is composed of rose gold plated dimensional leaves. This is a very substantial piece and in wonderful condition for its age with only very minor wear to the enamel. The layered design features hook and eye construction. The clip mechanism is tight and secure. The brooch measures 2" and is signed Nettie Rosenstein Sterling with a "2 "mark. This is a rare and special piece!
