Pair of Antique Hand-Carved wooden duck decoys. Both are marked on the bottom: Victor. Inset glass eyes. Textured bodies and heads. They have
Original paint. Their paint shows age and wear. One decoy with worn original paint around the neckline but am reluctant to restore for will depreciate in value unless restored by a professional.
They measure: height about 6" x length 16" and 15". The pieces are incredible pieces of folk art.

Denote that unless glass eyes were replaced in the 19th century, typical antique decoys have painted or tack eyes. It was not until the turn of the 20th century that glass eyes first appeared. The more coveted decoys are hand-carved, signed, with original glass eyes and swivel heads.
