Extremely Rare and Sought-After "Little Red Riding Hood" Cookie Jar by Hull Ware Pottery BRAND: Hull Ware Pottery Designed by Louis Bauer in 1943 with patent assigned to A. E. Hull Ware Pottery Co. the line was produced until 1957. What a sweet blue-eyed Little Red Riding Hood Cookie Jar by Hull Ware Pottery Co. with the popular floral of poppies, daisies and violets design on the front of her dress. Will make a terrific addition to your vintage Hull collection. Her cape's bow is painted in gold and she is carrying a yellow basket. She Stands about approx. 13.25" tall, Base is approx. 5 1/2" and 9" at widest point. Base is impressed with "Little Red Riding Hood, Pat Des No 135889 U.S.A." on the bottom. CONDITION: Condition is remarkable with no cracks, chips, crazing or damage repairs on outside. Inside rim of jar has two small nicks but no major damage. Back of hood on lid has a few 'scuff marks' - assume from jar being placed against wall or in cupboard. (happy to send photos upon request) There is some fading of gold on her collar commensurate with age. There is minimal wear to the bottom of the cookie jar from sitting on shelf.
