These boots were made around 1970 when they were changing the sizing to modern. Boots are marked 495 and 9.5D but I wear 9.5-10’s and I can not even get my foot even close into them so I think the miss marked 495 instead of 475. They have worn not much have original lemon pegged soles which this pair has 6 rows that are used on the top line ElRey’s normal gold label boots had 4 rows of lemon pegs.
