Rare / Vintage - Brown Mink Fur Canteen Beggar’s Purse

Item is unbranded. This vintage brown mink fur canteen purse is a rare find from the mid-century (1940's - late 1960's). The purse features a unique beggar's design & is perfect for cocktail parties, special occasions or weddings. Bag shape rounds out when full. Made with dark brown mink fur. Gold-toned hardware is used throughout the expandable accordion opening & single chain strap. Height: 9.5 in Width of canteen opening: 5 in Strap drop: 6 in All measurements are best approximations. Rare/Vintage. Timeframe: Mid-century (1940's - late 1960's). Purchased new by family member, likely in the 1960's. One owner, who rarely used it & had it stored to maintain excellent condition. From a smoke-free/pet free home. No odor. Item is clean inside & out. Only flaw observed is a scuff at the canteen's accordion opening of the gold-toned hardware. The gold-toned hardware is otherwise shiny without tarnish. Please see all photos.
