Rare Vintage Charles Dickens 2 Volume Our Mutual Friend Hardback Books

This is a rare, vintage 2 Volume set of early 1900’s hardback publication of Our Mutual Friend by Charles Dickens. This is the Broadstairs edition of the books done by MacDonald and Sons for the Edinburgh Society. The books contain some plate illustrations by Felix Darley, a well known American illustrator for his work on books by authors such as Dickens and Cooper and has had his art on display in the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the National Gallery in the United States. Volume II does have some staining on edge of front and back cover and some pages have turned dark,but does not affect the words or the reading. Both in very good shape for age.
