Rare- Vintage Dress by Eve Stillman - Fine Egyptian Cotton Little Bo Peep Dress

Extremely rare, this is a beautiful example of her work. Better known for her lingerie she did dabble in a few other pieces. Fine Egyptian cotton skirt is lined w/a very fine crinoline. 1 pocket on right & the inside of the puffy sleeves are lined w/same cotton. Gathered cotton on the bodice allows for a medium to small bust. Top lace in the front is over the highly gathered cotton, not in back. I can’t stress the beautiful condition of this dress. Minor pin hole like damage & it has one faint stain on the back exterior hem. See last 2 photos. The flaws were only caught while photographing. On a scale of vintage I would give this 9 out of 10. This dress is Hollywood worthy for a period piece. Interior waist has a place where the crinoline has pulled away from the wait. 1.5” area needing a minor repair. Does not affect fit or form. All original mother of pearl buttons. Lace is undamaged. The satin ribbon is a soft dove gray. The top ties do not draw and gather, the bottom ties you can cinch the 29” waist as tight as you want. See video for measurement details. No odors, grime or gross stains not even the dreaded yellow arm pits. This dress is pretty much vintage pristine. Other than the area inside at the waist right side sort of over the pocket area and the very faint stain on hem on back this dress screams original summer vintage.
