Rare Vintage Eisenberg Enameled Turtle Pendant Necklace - Excellent

This rare vintage enameled turtle pendant by Eisenberg is part of the Artists' Series, created and sold in the 1970s, often featuring enameled animals. This pendant is of a turtle with an enameled shell and head, outlined in goldtone and enameled in various tones of brown, tan, and beige with a heavy gold tone snake chain. This turtle is very large measuring approximately 3.5" x 2.5". It is definitely a statement necklace if worn as jewelry, but the chain and jump ring could easily be removed and it would stand on its own as an object d'art. The legs are gold tone and have a ribbed texture. Closure is a spring ring. Signed Eisenberg. Gorgeous piece for anyone but especially collectors of turtle jewelry and/or beautiful enamel. Great overall vintage condition. The chain measures approx. 18 inches. The color on the all the pieces is very good with minimal to no wear. From a collector's estate.
