Rare Vintage MCM 1970s PLAYBOY Brand MOD Oversized SUNGLASSES!

This is a fabulous pair of vintage 1970 sunglasses by Playboy, made in Austria. Frame is “Optyl”, a lucite-type material, in ivory and Amber gold. The Playboy logo is on either side of temple in black and gold set into the amber part of the frame. Cool beveled detailing at temples. Large oversized lenses with the initials “CH“ on bottom of right lens These may possibly be prescription lenses which could be replaced with your own prescription or Plano lenses if desired. Approximate measurements are about 5 1/2 inches wide across front of frame, 2 1/2 inches wide at front of frame, and temple measures 5 inches long, but could be lengthened having an optical shop heat and reshape the back of the frame so it doesn’t curve so much. Item sold in overall good condition - there are a few little nicks at very back of earpieces which will not show when worn, and some scratches to lenses typical to a sunglass lens of this age. If you replace the lenses, this will be of no consequence in any event.
