Rare Vintage Marzi & Remy Beer Stein

Marzi & Remy German stein with pewter lid Having extensively reseaching this stein, I can not find another one listed or descibed anywhere, so I believe it to be very rare. The writing translates to Augsburg Town Hall and Anton Marzi and Simon Peter Remy founded the company in the Westerwald town of Höhr in 1879. The Berlin Wall fell in 1989. Marzi and Remy permenantly closed their doors in 1994. Marzi & Remy began production in 1880 and this stein is an example of their traditional blue-grey salt glazed stoneware. The stein has a pewter lid with embossed buildings I assume are the same buildings on the mug Excellent condition. No chips or cracks. Approx. 7.5" tall x 5.5" wide. 1 lb. 14 oz. This is beautiful & in excellent condition.
