Rare Vintage Blue Corn, San Ildefonso Pueblo Black on Black Lighter. Blue Corn is Crucita Gonzoles Calabaza (1921-1999) who has won awards for her pottery work. This piece is approximately 2-1/2 inches high and approximately 2-3/4 at the widest part. Signed Blue Corn San Ildefonso Pueblo on the bottom. This was purchased from David Cook Fine American Art (Member of the Antique Tribal Art Dealers Association), Denver, Colorado in 1998. The lighter worked when purchased; however, it has not been used for years and may need adjustments. Excellent vintage condition that would be a great addition to any collection of San Ildefonso blackware.
