Rare Vintage Silk Floral Embroidery Jacket Top

Incredible Vintage 1940s champagne colored silk blouse with amazing floral embroidery over the entire piece! Full button up front with with eighteen small rounded buttons that fasten with elastic loops. Tiny faux pearl trim along the neckline. Looser fitting shape with slightly puffed sleeves. Made of a soft and lightweight silk. Could be worn as a blouse or a bed jacket and is a great layering piece. The floral motif on the back is simply gorgeous! The color is a champagne beige (some monitors may show the close up photos as lighter than the actual color). Would best fit a Medium ♦ MEASUREMENTS ♦ Shoulder - 14" Bust - up to 36 1/2" Waist - up to 36" Sleeve - 10 1/2" (shoulder to cuff, including lace) Length - 19" (shoulder to bottom hem, including lace) Fabric - silk Label - n/a Condition - In great vintage condition. A few small tan spots here and there on the silk. Please see close up photo for these. The faux pearl trim and buttons appear to have once been fully pearlized, but they have lost most of their finish and are now mostly opaque white. Embroidery is in excellent condition and all the seams are fully in tact. The photos do not do this piece justice as it is simply lovely in person. It is in overall great condition for it's age and very wearable. Cleaned and ready to wear!
