Rare! Vtg 1978 Royal Copenhagen BING & GRONDAHL Englishman Porcelain Plate Box

Dimensions: approximately 8.5" diameter (21.5 cm) This stunning and extremely rare porcelain collectible hanging plate/wall plaque was made by the Danish company Royal Copenhagen, known for its exceptional quality and craftsmanship. The "Englishman" design is part of the "Inhabitants of the Earth" series, released in 1978 to commemorate Bing & Grondahl's 125th anniversary. Bing and Grondahl, founded in 1853, has a long history of producing high-quality porcelain pieces, revered by collectors around the world This vintage plate features a beautifully HAND-PAINTED image of a well-dressed Englishman standing in the grass. The border showcases a lovely pierced/reticulated pattern with a delicate gold edge trim. The plate is marked "8801/623" on its back and is in excellent condition, free of any chips, cracks, crazing or repairs, with no wear to the color image or gilt. It measures approximately 8.5" in diameter (21.5 cm) and comes with the ORIGINAL BOX and one piece of paperwork. The box is also in excellent condition.
