Rare, vintage Disney themed tiddlywinks game published in 1963 by Whitman. 100% complete and in excellent condition. Some minor edge wear. See photos for details. Walt Disney’s Tiddlywinks game is a playful and engaging activity that combines skill and strategy. Here’s how it works: Objective: The goal is to score points by getting your own colored “winks” (small discs) into the pot. At the same time, you’ll try to prevent opponents from doing the same by strategically covering their winks. Setup: The game is played on a flat felt mat. Each player controls winks of a specific color (blue, green, red, or yellow). Red and blue are always partners against green and yellow. There are six winks of each color, starting in the corners of a 6-foot by 3-foot mat. A pot (the target) is placed at the center of the mat. Gameplay: Players use a “squidger” (usually made of plastic) to shoot a wink into the air. They flick the squidger across the top of a wink and over its edge. Offensive objective: Score points by potting your own winks. Defensive objective: Prevent opponents from potting their winks by “squopping” them (shooting your own winks to land on top of theirs). Skilled players can pot all their winks in one turn if they successfully pot a wink of their own color. while some may consider tiddlywinks a simple children’s game, the competitive version offers strategic depth and excitement!
