An art deco brooch designed by Raymond C. Yard.
Fantastic circular brooch, created in America during the art deco period by the master jewelry designer Raymond C. Yard, back in the 1930's. This rare and elegant round brooch was carefully crafted in solid .900/.999 platinum with high polished finish. It is embellished with a great selection of natural and earth mined gemstones, such fifteen large Burmese rubies and fifteen white colorless diamonds. Fitted at the reverse with an horizontal stick bar and a mechanical safety lock.

Rubies: Mounted in channel settings, with 15 French calibre faceted cut of natural Burmese vivid red rubies, with a total weight of 3.77 carats.
Diamonds: Mounted in French pave settings, with 15 calibrated round brilliant cut of natural diamonds, 1.05 carats, white colorless E/F color, VS-2 clarity.
Weight: 7.32 Grams, (4.72 Dwt).
Measurements: The diameter is 34 mm (1.34 Inch).
Hallmarks: They are both stamped with the maker's mark, the mark for the assay of the .900/.999 platinum and the white gold, the serial numbers and signed, "YARD 9092X PLAT- 14KT".
