atdunson It's likely a Mink, as Pizitz - Birmingham (Alabama) were known for their Minks. If it is real Mink,, then it is very likely that the original purchaser's name is embroidered on the inside. Probably on the lower right side. And given the filigree and that furs fell off in the late '60's, I would date the coat late 50's to early 60's.

atdunson @xlullaby I was trying to add a photo of the name embroidery, as they are all done pretty well the same. Anyway, I have no clue how to, or if I even can, add a photo....🤷
