@ehopie Mine too, and it hasn't faded as she's gotten older (she was a rescue, so we're not quite sure how old she is, but we've had her almost 7 years). It's that Chihuahua attitude mixed with the Doxie stubbornness! We love her to death, though. She's our baby. β€

@loveandsqualor Yep, us too! Sometimes I feel I relate better to my fur pack than people...π They get me! π Amber will be 3 in Dec this year. I don't know exactly how old her mom Dottie is though. The owner dumped Dottie and her 5 chiweenie puppy's at animal control when the puppy's were about 4 weeks. Sad, but happy to provide her and her Dottie a good home. Dottie is estimated to be about 6-7ish.

@ehopie We think something similar happened to Athena. She wandered into our yard one day, skinny with no collar, looking lost. We gave her some chicken and she never left. It looked like she had had puppies recently, but she didn't have them any more. We lived sort of on the outskirts of town at the time and we think she got pregnant so someone abandoned her in the country. Not sure what happened to the puppies. π So sad, but it's nice when it works out in the end.
