Red Hat Society Brooch Enamel Hat Hidden Loop Eyeglass ID Badge Holder NOS

This Red Hat Society brooch features a red and purple enamel red hat. It measures 2.25" W x 1.25". It is signed EF for the designer, Esther Fuhrman On the back of the pin there is a patented drop down loop that can hold your eye glasses, name tag, badge, ID cards, etc. When not in use as a functional piece of jewelry, the loop can be flipped back up behind the pin where it is secured with a magnet. Ester Fuhrman was a sculptor and designer who was commissioned by names like QVC, Macy's and Red Hat Society. She has since retired and her pieces have only become harder to come by!
