@katykeller Thank you for all your shares and likes tonight! Goodness, when I was here earlier and commented on your blankets, I didn't even realize they are handmade. So incredible...and you're absolutely right, makes them so much more special!
Hope the new fortunate owners happen upon them quickly.

Received beautiful baby blanket. How do you recommend washing?
katykeller
@suesmith5000 I hope you loved the blanket! I always use a mild detergent and wash the blanket using warm water. I also spot treat any stains beforehand. I wash it on regular cycle and it always does well! but I decided to send you what the experts say (AKA) Google, lol.

@suesmith5000 Use a gentle or delicate cycle on your washing machine.
Use cold or warm water: Cold water can help prevent shrinkage and keep colors vibrant. You can also use slightly warm or room temperature water.
Use a gentle detergent: Use a small amount of a gentle, liquid detergent that's free of harsh chemicals, bleach, brighteners, and additives, that is safe for being around babies.

@suesmith5000 Spot treat stains: For noticeable stains, you can hand wash the area with warm water and diluted detergent before washing the blanket in the machine.
Dry: After washing, you can tumble dry the blanket on low heat, or fluff it up in the dryer for a few minutes before hanging it or laying it flat to dry.
I hope that helps!
