Red Stone and Marcasite 925 Silver Ring Sz 5.25

Red Stone (likely carnelian or jasper) and Marcasite Silver Ring, marked 925, purchased in Mexico City. Split shank band, Sz 5.25-5.5 (my ring finger is 5 and this is slightly too large). Needs to be polished but I did not do so since some prefer the darkened silver. I am not a jeweler so comments are based on research and markings on ring.
