The Foreman Oxford was Red Wing's best-selling shoe in the early 1950s. Black Chrome leather, simple line design, plus cushioned outsole and low barrel design, with classic Goodyear shoe craftsmanship structure, greatly improve work comfort. Red Wing launched the 8054/8049 SS in 2019, a new Foreman Oxford shoe based on the 533 sold in 1940, when the mainstream design of cargo boots was a simple round toe to a toe, a sole made of rubber material to improve durability and oil resistance, the appearance was changed from the classic 4-hole to 5-eyelet, and the heel cushioning was improved to increase comfort. These are marked as factory seconds, but I could not find any blemishes. I did replace the nylon flat laces with nicer black waxed cotton laces. Shoe trees not included, but original box is included.
