Red Wing Pottery Concord Fantasy Cup And Saucer

In 1941, Red Wing Pottery came out with the Concord shape. This is the very hard to find Fantasy design version of this line from the 1950s. Red Wing, Minnesota housed one of America's premier utilitarian and even art pottery producers for over a hundred years. This is a beautiful snapshot of vintage Hand Painted Americana. The shape and pale luminous pink under glaze boast the height of midcentury modern decor for the time. It is so collectible that you rarely see pieces out on the open market. The cup is four inches across. The Saucer is six inches across. They are in excellent condition.
