Red and Gold Vintage Giant Les Lunettes De Baccara Aunglasses- Ted Lapidus, 1980

These are some of the most amazing sunglasses I've ever seen! These beautiful sunglasses are created by Les Lunettes De Baccara, but designed by noted French designer Ted Lapidus They are signed on one side" Paris model 8-A", on the other side it reads" Les Lunettes De Baccara" which is written in a very faint gold script, so it is difficult to photograph. These glasses measure 15-58-135, so they are very large sunglasses! Surprisingly though, for as large as they are, they are very light on the face, and they stay on your ears securely when being worn. The glass is great graduated. give me the wearer a mysterious somewhat sultry look. The frames are in fantastic condition, with little if any wear. I think somebody got really excited about buying them, and then when they put them on when they got home, they realized they couldn't pull it off! The shape is very unusual, with five sides on each glass, and the glass held in with a very fine thin grass bezel. These glasses are works of art that you can wear! Good luck!
