Reed Krakoff Locking Hobo Crossbody Handbag from the 2000s, authentic vintage at its best. The PERFECT Europe trip bag, as it has a little lock and zipper at the top to help prevent pickpocketing.
Reed Krakoff joined Coach in 1996 and was responsible for their blockbuster success in the 90's, and then started his own line in the early aughts. Michelle Obama wore his clothing on the cover of Vogue, and he's known both for quality and design in his own bags.
Approximately 14 x 15", long strap adjusts a lot and can be worn as crossbody, or detached and worn as a slouchy shoulder bag.
These bags are BUTTERY, soft, and just incredible quality.
Originally cost $1,200.
It's in great overall condition for its age, but there are some light stains, marks, scuffs, etc. outside and a bit of pen inside and out. I have tried to show as much as I can in the photos. It really doesn't distract from the bag in use and some of it will definitely clean up with a buff and some leather polish.
Y2K style at its best!
