Renoir Copper Modernist Clamper Cuff

1946-1964's Renoir Modernist Copper Clamper Cuff Bracelet. The lovely piece has such beauty in it's simplicity. It is a Clamper style with the opening in the front. It measure 2 inches in diameter on the inside (please see picture) so it's fit my wrist without having the clamper open to accommodate wrist (see picture). There are three copper "bars" on either side that has spaces between the bars so you can see your wrist through these spaces. The rest of the Cuff is solid. Some pieces had blackened highlights, which occur naturally when copper is soldered. These darkened areas were sometimes artificially enhanced to add depth and interest to the design. This piece is in great vintage condition with only minor scratches from normal wear. It is hinged in the middle of the back with "Renoir" signed on it (see picture).
