You can bet your grandparents or great-grandparents had their tea or coffee in a cup exactly like this one!
Sharon is one of the most popular and sought-after patterns. It is also one of the very few patterns that has an asymmetric design, a spray of big happy roses surrounded by 5-petaled florets and foliage. It was produced by Federal Glass between 1935 and 1939.
Excellent antique condition. A tiny tiny thing, though: the “seam” corresponding to the mark of the mold in which the cup was pressed is very apparent. At first I thought it was a crack, but it’s not, it’s just the seam you find on any piece of pressed glass…–-see pictures).
It doesn’t come with its saucer, which is why I put “replacement” in the title, as it would come handy to complete a set again if you had the misfortune to break one of its cups…
