Repurposed Cameo brooch to choker

This repurposed Cameo style brooch was saved by my mother in law and transformed into a choker necklace. Those born in the depression era grew up not throwing away useable items and this is an example of reuse long before it became a lifestyle choice. You can see from the reverse that the pin must have broken and she pulled out her needle and thread and made her a choker necklace on a black ribbon.
