theresanaught42 @danceflower2013 Jm sorry lady -- I know that struggle 😩. I'm willing to work with customers within reason but I definitely have moments of frustration. danceflower2013 @theresanaught42 one more question. I'm very new at selling. I've been doing it for like a month. I ship with 24 hours, most times same day. Items are excellent condition. I wrap nice, etc but people arent accepting. I have over 200 in sales (8) just pending. Nobody accepts the items. It just defaults to 4 days 95% of the time. Am I missing something?

It doesn't sound to me like you're doing anything wrong -- but sometimes it just slips people's minds or they're not home to receive a package within the first day or two so I think it's fair if they haven't accepted by day to or 3 to leave a comment just saying that you wanted to make sure that they received it 😊. theresanaught42 @danceflower2013 Hmmm... I'm sorry to hear that! That does sounds disproportionate to me. Not saying that you're doing anything wrong -- but I know that I try to always communicate when I'll be shipping someone's package (so that they know to be on the lookout for it) and include a nice note of little gift. Doing that may make them more likely to leave a nice review and thusly accept in a timely fashion. Just a thought 😸.

danceflower2013 @theresanaught42 the only thing I can think of is most of my orders come from only buyers. Like there pages are blank. So the only thing I can think is that they are new?? I don't know. Its so strange. At first it as only 1 or 2 but now my last 10 sales, 2 accepted. The rest are on days 2 or 3 of waiting. I even commented on a few saying I hope you love the items.

And I've definitely noticed that seems to happen more with folks who are only buyers because they don't necessarily understand how it can impact a seller when the acceptance is delayed. People may also be traveling for spring break/Easter right now... try not get discouraged!!

theresanaught42 @danceflower2013 Oh / I was also thinking about your previous comment about lowball offers... again, you may already be doing this but I always counter with my lowest and leave a comment thanking them for their offer and explaining that I've countered with the lowest I can go in light of poshmarj's 20% fee and any shipping and handling costs.

I personally don't have an issue with people commenting on my items in regards to their own postings but I know some people see that as promoting your own closet on their postings.

theresanaught42 @debbie2232 Good morning! Thanks for reaching out. If I had to say what has helped md most with selling it would be sharing. I know it sounds rudimentary - but the more you share your stuff, the more exposure you get. And the more you share others' listings, the more they share yours, which gives you exposure with a different customer base. Other than that, my biggest tips would be working aggressively to build up your followers and being as communicative as possible with buyers.

But I always counter with the lowest I can go; sometimes it works out and you can strike a deal, sometimes it doesn't and in that case it wasn't meant to be. Finally, can you clarify what you mean when you reference salsa calling off? Do you mean people cancel after purchasing?

theresanaught42 @debbie2232 That's great! It sounds like you're absolutely on the right track Something else that might help is running periodic flash sales. I know that figuring out the best way to price took me some time - I can't speak to your strategy but I always look around for similar items and see what the average price is and the. list mine slightly lower if I'm comfortable with that.
