Vintage Gold Knight w/Sword Medallion Lg Wood Mount 60s Nehru Jacket Stunning vintage medallion from around 1967. Shiny gold tone metal knight with sword in his upraised hand, riding a horse into battle!!! Intended to be worn with Nehru jacket...a fashion fad in the mid 60s. For those who are unfamiliar with the Nehru jacket fad, a pic is provided (not a part of the sale; for reference only). It belonged to my brother who tried it on exactly once, then put it away. Original box from Jacobson's in Detroit is included. Mounted on polished wooden base, 2.5"x2.5". Large link golden chain approx 32". Cool for SCA reenactment/enthusiast. This bad boy is so big & heavy, it could be used as wall ornament! Medallion could be mounted on album cover, or any other uses you can think of, including wearing as intended.
