@matildalady I'm back. According to some Bloggs you can sell on Poshmark without following and still sell. Maybe not as much. Best to follow posher your same size and likes. I did put up a notice that I only check once per day. I also read to put up vacation notices if you are busy. You can still sell but less pressure. Also, advice given: don't spend too much time "staging" unless you are a full time Posher or have a Boutique.

@matildalady The bigger the closet is the more likely you get a bundle offer - that makes sense. Poshers will buy items from a hanger if it's something they want. I took your advice and adjusted my offering prices so I can take offers. This weekend my closet is going to explode!

@linendenimdada Good suggestions! Thanks. I look forward to seeing your closet additions. My practice listings took me about 30 min each to do. That is slow, especially considering how many items I want to list. I just showed my (teen) daughter how to do some of it so I'm hoping she'll help me some with the photos. I think you're right about having more items to increase bundles. Prob more items in similar sizes to appeal to someone who wants to order several things for them self.

@linendenimdada Congrats! I think maybe sometimes ppl join here just to purchase? I know that before I joined I'd sometimes google an item and see Posh listings come up in the image search. Maybe that is how your buyer found your item. This is great for you!!!

@matildalady But I am seeing Posh listing more and more on Google. It seems most of them - except for vintage- are stock photos so maybe from a boutique that is buying wholesale? I was googling prices and saw some Posh listings that had multiple of same item. It's a choice on the pulldown menu. There are several sites that allow drop shipping.

@linendenimdada I think the more experienced Posh ppl have the option to buy wholesale from some suppliers Poshmark has lined up. Those are the boutique listings. Interesting how those come up in google searches.

@linendenimdada I'm kind of a perfectionist. The main thing for me right now, though, is that I travel a lot for work. I'm setting things up (with my items catalogued and ready to package) so my family can print the label and put items in the mail if I make a sale while out of town. I'm in the road now and don't have that part smoothed out quite yet so I put my closet on vacay status til I get back. I'll get this figured out soon! 😀

@linendenimdada Are you returning an item you bought or the other way around? I wondered how returns here work but didn't think there would be many in general.
I like traveling and mixing things up a bit, career-wise. I'm doing computer consulting-type work for medical facilities....kinda outside my degree area but after 20 yrs in patient care it's a nice detour for now 😀

@matildalady I’m trying to return an item that was the wrong size and smelled of cigarette smoke the seller claimed she dry cleaned. It has pearl buttons. Can you image how much it would cost to dry clean? It is machine washable. Then the seller “sfox22” posts comments to make it seem it was me.

@matildalady Also she called me “rude” and a “LIAR”. I can’t remove the posts. She asks me not to contact her again yet it was she that contacted me after I filled a claim. I want to send the jacket to PoshMark so they can see why there are so many negative comments on the web. However
With millions of members I can see why they would not. I’ll send you her last comment

I’m concerned about selling to these scammers and retribution from buyers that are friends of sfox22. I haven’t heard from customer support yet except they are reviewing. I’ve taken over 30 picks. All I want is my refund and to return the stinky too small jacket.

@matildalady as soon as I get paid for the earrings I sold I’m taking off my vacation lady and putting stuff back up for sale. I don’t think it’s posh Mark‘s fault that I happen to get not one but two bad orders. I I have the boots in a plastic bag with baking soda and kitty litter to get the fire smell out! But I love those boots it’s worth the effort.I’m glad your orders or what you expected. I have my eye on things. I feel like asking “how old are you anyway” before I buy anything…

@linendenimdada My former username had no meaning outside of an old nickname. Nostalgic for me but no connection for the outside world. Other than my teen’s clothing, about 80% or more of what I have to sell is careerwear. Just made more sense as a name. Easier to lookup and remember.
