Reversible Smafolk Snowsuit Winter Size 6-9 month/ 74cm

I purchased this here and my baby never wore it (wrong size for the season). I'm including the write up from the previous sellers because it was so thorough! Hope it can be passed along to a new babe.. Penguins adorn one side and polar bears the other on this European company's adorable eco-friendly snowsuit. Washed with nontoxic detergent. Bought 5 years ago, stored in a closet ever since, no info available online anymore. The tag says 100% cotton, but we're quite sure it is organic... we just don't have proof. It's a plastic-free garment without any PFAS or other toxic treatments as well. Our memory is that it's waxed to achieve water resistance. It's made using multiple layers of very tightly loomed fabric, making it virtually wind-proof as well. As a lifelong skier & snowboarder who sold (toxic) snow gear in my youth and has been acquiring same ever since, I can say this is not a "serious" snowsuit that will hold up for hours of outdoor snow play. It is not intended for that. It will probably keep baby dry for as long as they last out there... a couple hours with occasional contact with the snow. We used it to hike for a few hours while carrying him on several occasions and, with a couple insulating layers underneath, he stayed dry and warm. He went sledding with us and on his own for a while, even in wet snow, and while the outside often got wet, it didn't seem to get through. For us, the absence of toxic chemicals was more important than perfect weatherproofness.
