Rex Fifth Avenue 50s bag set

Rare and fabulous time traveler! A boxed set. This beautiful satin striped evening bag is lined in dark blue faille, with built in lipstick holder and pockets, and comes with a matching powder compact and comb. Its so rare and amazing that the original box is also with it! This was purchased from the Heesen-Haskell Company jewelers in Toledo, Ohio. This evening bag measures 6.5W x 4H x 2D. It looks to be unused. The only issues to note are a few areas of slight age staining, see pix for details. I do think the nature of the stripes hides these issues, which i would rate as more minor then major…but look closely at the pix. Vintage items will have wrinkles and blemishes as they are time travelers, and if you are looking for a pristine new item, then perhaps vintage is not for you.
