Rhodes Steam Engine Train Plate Collectible Pewter

Here is a Rhodes pewter-silver Steam Train plate beautifully designed in a rendition of the "Best Friend of Charleston 0-4-OT" Steam Train. Her inaugural ride was on December 25, 1830, in Charleston, South Carolina This collector plate is made of pewter enhanced with silver using a precise, proof-quality metallic art, capturing clarity and detail. It is 8-1/2" in diameter, and has about a 1/4" lip inset from the outer rim design to the center design. This plate is the third in a series of "Legendary Steam Trains" produced by the Rhodes Studios, designed by Daniel Stapleford. It is actually a very stunning plate! It was never used, and comes with the original packaging materials, and the Certificate of Authenticity, which is No. S02840.
